I decided to paint one of my favorite comic strip characters from when I was a kid, Dick Tracy. I used to cut out the strips from the Sunday comics and save them in an envelope to make a story out of them. I loved all the character names they came up with; funny and strange gangster names like, Flattop Jones, Pruneface and Vitamin Flintheart. It was a strip that really sparked my imagination. So, I did a painting of Dick Tracy as my little tribute.

These 3" paintings are specially priced for January for this 25 day challenge; Just $25 each. To purchase just click this link http://thomreaves.com/collections/85150.
