Here's the latest from my abstract Creation series. It's of Genesis chapter 1 verse 4: "And God separated the light from the darkness."

Thinking of making art in abstract is new for me. I find, however, that it is not purely abstract because the elements in my painting represent something - which you can get from the title. In pure abstract painting I don't think the elements in the painting necessarily represent anything - nor do they have to. That's kind of a stretch for me right now, as my mind has always gone to the thought that I have to paint some thing. It's a good avenue to take at present. I'm enjoying. Who knows where it might lead me?

I didn't make it to 25 paintings in twenty five days - well, that is 'consecutive' days. I never said they were consecutive days did I? (I can cheat, right?) So, I will make it up to twenty five paintings, just not in the first 25 days.
